Baltic Line AS operates a fleet of three vessels under fixed weekly liner schedules at Baltic and North Sea.

During 30 years of operation Baltic Line has gained wide experience from carrying all kind of cargoes.

Baltic Line AS is part of the DSD Group, which has been established in 1855. In addition to Baltic Line, DSD group is active with modern fleet of tankers, short sea shipping and bus transports.

Cargoes

Baltic Line vessels offer multiple handling methods for break bulk. Via side ports line can accept any cargo which can be handled with forklifts such as pallets, big bags or bundles/packages/cases. Furthermore all vessels have normal hatches for cargo requiring crane handling.

The Baltic Line fleet is capable of carrying

  • Steel products and metals: coils, bars, sheets and plates.
  • Forest products: boards, paper and pulp.
  • Chemicals: pallets and big bags (also hazardous).
  • Containers: dry-, bulk- and tank containers.
  • Boats
  • High and heavy project cargo
  • Dry bulk cargoes on spot basis.

All vessels are equipped with a wide range of lashing and securing equipment suitable for all kind of cargoes. Our crew is experienced for handling and lashing work onboard, vessels also have their own forklifts onboard.

MV ODDA MARIE CELEBRATING 100th VOYAGE FROM ODDA

We are pleased to congratulate mv Odda Marie and the crew for the 100th voyage ex Odda, Norway.

Vessel has sailed for 2 years now on Baltic Line’s North Sea service on triangle weekly liner system Odda-Amsterdam-Hull-Odda.

Master schedule:

MV ODDA MARIE: Installation of BWT-System

Mv Odda Marie had a service break in Amsterdam on week 35 and Norwegian Greentech ballast water treatment system got assembled.

Vessel returned 5.9.2022 to her normal weekly liner schedule Odda-Amsterdam-Hull.

The whole Baltic Line fleet has now been equipped with modern BWT-systems.

Annual dry-docking of mv Baltic Amelie and installation of BWT-system

Mv Baltic Amelie will have her annual dry-docking in Finland on weeks 15-16.

During the dry-docking Norwegian Greentech ballast water treatment system will be installed in addition to the normal engine maintenance and general service work.

Vessel will return to her normal liner schedule on week 17 by sailing west bound from Finland on uneven weeks and east bound from Norway on even weeks.

BWT SYSTEM INSTALLED TO MV BALTIC MADONNA

Mv Baltic Madonna completed today her annual dry-docking in Tallinn and vessel returns to her normal schedule by sailing west bound from Finland on even weeks and east bound from Norway on uneven weeks.

During the dry-docking Alfa Laval ballast water treatment system was installed in addition to engine maintenance and general service work.
